It will take you somewhere
It may be an ancient cobblestoned path in a medieval town
Or a modern stretch of concrete, wide and straight
There are streets even in the smallest villages, where the road is a single one
Every street contains a journey
They are the veins of a city
If you want to reach
Walk the path
One step, two steps, go ahead. Look around. Go.
In São Paulo, Brazil, streets are always noisy; sounds are stronger than the visuals. Below is the road where I was born.
This is one my favorite streets in downtown Manhattan.
